As a practitioner, Sue works using the unconscious mind as a source of wealth to help promote healing. Therapeutic contact with the client is short at around six sessions and helps to promote rapid change.  She founded CTIS (Centre Training International School of Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy) working in it for 25 years, training throughout the UK, Ireland and South Africa. It was an approved training & accrediting Member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) on whose Governing Board Sue served for over three years.

She has worked in Primary Health Care, Education, personal growth, team building, communication improvement and preventative medicine. She has lectured part time at different Universities and has marked papers at Masters’ level.

Qualifications are important of course.  She has a Certificate in Education (Cert.Ed) awarded by the University of Leeds, a BA Degree awarded by the Open University, a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Evolutionary & Behavioural Ecology from the University of Liverpool & a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Counselling Studies from Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU).  She holds the European Certificate of psychotherapy, the European Certificate of counselling and is a member of the European Association of Counselling as well as the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).  She supervises many practitioners younger in practice than herself,

She is a writer and works with children, adults and groups.  She enjoys supervising younger practitioners.
